Town Board Adopts Dover Plains Pedestrian Plan

Town Board Adopts Dover Plains Pedestrian Plan

With sincere thanks to the Dutchess County Transportation Council and a dedicated taskforce of residents, business owners and town officials, the Dover Plains Pedestrian Plan was adopted by the Town Board at the April 26th Town Board meeting.

The plan was developed following a study of the hamlet's roads, sidewalks, crossings and accessibility and included development of numerous recommendations to improve aesthetics, wayfinding along with pedestrian, bicyclist and motorist safety.

Below please find a PowerPoint presentation with highlights of the plan presented at the April 26th meeting by County Planners Emily Dozier and Tara Grogan from the Dutchess County Transportation Council.
