At this meeting, the Town Board adopted the following resolutions:
- Declared lead agency on the Boyce Park Community Recreation Program and conducted the State Environmental Quality Review (SEQR) and determined a Negative Declaration with regard to SEQR that construction of a Boyce Park Community Recreation Center would not have a significant environmental impact (certified resolution follow)
- Authorized the issuance of municipal bonds in the maximum amount of $9.5 million for the proposed construction of a new community recreation center (certified resolution follows)
- Authorized a special election/referendum for qualified voters in Dover to vote on a proposition to approve or deny the construction of a new community recreation center at Thomas Boyce Park in Wingdale on Saturday, July 27, 2024 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Dover Town Hall (certified resolution follows)
