Impending Closure of a portion of Old State Route 22 in Dover Plains (between Sherman Hill Rd. and Jordyn Lane) for bridge replacement starting Thursday, April 18, 2024

The Town has received notification from Dutchess Co. Dept. of Public Works to confirm the date that a portion of Old State Route 22 in Dover Plains will be closed for bridge replacement work starting Thursday, April 18, 2024 and expected to be completed about September 27, 2024.
Detour routes for traffic traveling from north and south directions will be posted. If possible, please avoid the area for travel and drive courteously on detour routes. Thank you.
