Dover Senior Recreation Program Participants Enjoy Chair Exercise at JHK Memorial Park Pavilion

As the Town welcomes summer, a devoted group of Dover residents enjoyed weekly chair exercise with activity leader Teri Ptasnick at the Town's recommissioned J. H. Ketcham Park in Dover Plains.

With assistance of Dutchess County Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and COVID-19 ARPA funding, the Town Board renovated the shuttered park into a family-friendly park space that includes community meeting space, prep/serving kitchen, an open air pavilion, 1/4-mile walking track with eight units of outdoor fitness equipment, pollinator garden and new inclusive children's playground equipment.
