On January 31, 2024, the Town of Dover Town Board adopted a resolution to authorize benchmarking of utilities usage (electricity and fuel oil) at primary municipal buildings (Town Hall/Justice Court and Town Highway Garage).  This initiative is part of the Town's Clean Energy Communities Program efforts to monitor and reduce municipal-generated greenhouse gas emissions generating by electricity and fuel oil consumption and to improve energy efficiency through clean energy measures.

Below are benchmarking reports for Dover Town Hall (and Justice Court) and the Town's Highway Garage over the past four years with annual Energy Star Performance Scoreboard ratings (where 1 indicates least energy efficiency;100 as most-efficient, and a median score of 50).
