Town of Dover Seeks Residents Interested in Serving on the Town's Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA)

The Town of Dover seeks town residents (age 18 years and older) to serve on the Town’s Zoning Board of Appeals.

The Zoning Board of Appeals shall have the power upon appeal of a determination by the Code Enforcement Officer (after public notice and hearing) to:

• review any order, requirement, decision, interpretation, or determination made by an administrative official charged with the enforcement of the Zoning chapter, generally the Code Enforcement Officer

•reverse, affirm, or modify, wholly or in part, the order, requirement, decision, interpretation or determination of the administrative official in accordance with the provisions of the Town Code.

The Zoning Board of Appeals meets when there is an application submitted and deemed complete for consideration.  A monthly meeting date is tentatively scheduled for the first Wednesday of each month at 7 p.m. at Dover Town Hall and confirmed by the ZBA Secretary in advance if/when an application is to be considered.
